PETROPOLITAN offers a new and unique pet program to the metropolitan Baton Rouge area!!  Now, you can eliminate any feelings of guilt when you leave for work or need to run errands for an extended period of time!  The term, "Doggie Day Care", is commonly used throughout the canine industry; however, at PETROPOLITAN, we prefer to refer to our program as "Doggie Play Care" because our program is more individualized and interactive in nature.

Our Doggie Play Care Program allows you to live your life, take care of your necessary business and know that your pal is in loving, caring hands throughout his or her visit.  You will no longer have to say, "I really would like to stay, but I have to get home to let the dog out".

PETROPOLITAN's poochie play care program is very reasonably priced and includes five walks per day! Indoors, we have 10' by 10' playpens. Outdoors, your dog will have ample room to romp and run in a clean environment! We are pleased to offer your pet the LARGEST green space in Red Stick. Our spacious, grounds are completely fenced and gated for your pet's safety and security. (And dig this, we even have an outdoor agility course!)

PETROPOLITAN offers socialization with caring humans, a comfortable relaxing cubby in our climate-controlled environment, specialty treats, nap time and play times with PETROPOLITAN's professional staff as well as play times with our wonderful group of dog-loving volunteers!!  Well, if that's not enough, should one of our luxury suites become available the day of your dog's play date, we will provide a complimentary upgrade in your pet's accommodation de jour!!

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with in-house WEB cams for your pet's safety and your peace of mind.  Additionally, we play continuous relaxation music and provide relaxing aroma therapy which wafts throughout our homey cottage atmosphere.  We have created the ultimate multi-sensory experience for your loved one!  Your pet will be pleasantly pleased with its new home-away-from-home!!

Seating is limited, so we recommend you call several days in advance to make your pooch's play-care appointment. By doing so, this allows our staff to plan proper arrangements for your best friend’s specific and individualized play-care program. This will ensure they have a fun, safe, stimulating and enjoyable stay at PETROPOLITAN!
